Grand Master Bio
As a teenager, he entered the Buddhist Temple and became a monk. After a few years, Master Seng left the temple for secular life. Master Seng's Hapkido training began with Masters San Kim Sean and Sung Chung Ho from 1975 to 1979. During the Khmer Rouge Communist occupation, Seng was taken from his family and put into a forced labor camp. During 1979 he escaped to neighboring Thailand where he taught gymnastics and Hapkido and became "Muay Thai Kickboxing Champion" for 1982 and 1984 with a professional record of 18 wins and 1 loss. Relocating to a refugee camp in the Philippines, Master Seng was sponsored by the US Embassy in Manila to participate in the 1988 "Competition of Asian Martial Arts" and won the Self Defense Championship.
During 1993 and 1995 Master Seng was invited by the Khmer Hapkido Federation to return to Cambodia and teach the National Police Force Hapkido restraint and control techniques. Master Seng has also hosted many seminars throughout the United States and has been promoted to the rank of Ninth Degree Black Belt by the Khmer Hapkido Federation.
